Licensed Chiropractor, Owner
Dr. Cooksley is a member of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has completed studies through the ICPA on pediatric chiropractic care. Dr. Aaron uses chiropractic care to help your nervous system work optimally, facilitating the body’s natural healing abilities.
Suffering Through Pain
Dr. Aaron was involved in every sport in junior high, from football and soccer to wrestling, baseball, and basketball. He was playing in the outfield and dove for a ball, hitting the ground and feeling an alarming pop. In pain, he started to limp.
The orthopedist told him to do physical therapy, but there was no progress after a couple of months. Football season started, and he couldn't even complete a squat with hardly any strength in his leg. A friend's parents suggested he visit the chiropractor. "I was skeptical. What could chiropractic have to do with a leg issue?"
He made the two-hour trip to see a chiropractor in Superior, Nebraska. The chiropractor performed a spinal analysis followed by an adjustment. Directly after, a problem that had been present for six months and was essentially sidelining Dr. Aaron was gone entirely.
Aaron said, "It was like nothing had been wrong with me. I was doing sprints in the chiropractor's parking lot! I didn't know anything about chiropractic yet, but it allowed me to regain my athletic abilities."
A Return to Form
Dr. Aaron was a running back at a Division II school during his college years. A chiropractor kept him in the game, and Aaron realized he wanted to have that same effect on people’s lives.
He attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic. While there, he attended numerous seminars to learn from doctors already in practice. That was how he discovered the Gonstead Technique.
Seeing these remarkable results made Dr. Aaron confident he had to share the same benefits of this technique with his patients when he began his practice. He was fortunate to learn from many mentors, combining these teachings into his care philosophy at Cooksley Family Chiropractic & Wellness.

Dr. Devin grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, where his life was heavily influenced by his athletics.
Throughout his younger years, he played football, basketball, and track & field. Through all of these sports, Dr. Devin suffered from a number of injuries, from small sprains and strains to broken bones. Because of his injuries, Dr. Devin spent a lot of time going through physical therapy, which started his love for the healthcare field.
Dr. Devin attended Doane University and majored in Exercise Science while playing football and competing on the track & field team. Before his senior year at Doane, Dr. Devin was slowed by a sprained ankle during summer workouts. His then high school coach and now mentor opened his eyes to the world of chiropractic, and more specifically, the Gonstead Method, with one simple ankle adjustment.
Dr. Devin went on to study and graduate from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2017. While at Logan, he dove headfirst into training with the Gonstead Method and invested 100+ hours into case studies, case management, and adjusting techniques. His first six years of practice have been spent helping the families and community of mid-Missouri.
He is excited for the opportunity to help the community of Lincoln and the surrounding areas with the Gonstead Method.
